This content only for 18 years and over
Kirsten Lewis, family photojournalist based in Denver, Colorado, began like every other photographer.
Her first clients were friends getting married in Jamaica who offered to trade a plane ticket to the island in exchange for pictures of their wedding. Following that experience, she booked wedding after wedding for friends, then friends of friends, then friends of friends of friends. Before she knew it, Kirsten was drowning in a business making work for her clients and the industry's expectations that did not fall in line with her artistic vision.
So one day she decided to quit looking at photo related blogs, unfollowed all wedding and family photographers and finally focused on making pictures just for her.
Kirsten will introduce you to the world of moment driven photography, making pictures that matter to your clients AND yourself and stop trying keep up with the photographic Jones'.
