Courses: filming

Classerium offers courses filming and production of courses (for free), details will be published soon, for now you can contact us about it. Or you can create them yourself of course, then read please read the requirements below.

The whole video format opportunities are as wide as your creativity. Classical video courses, screen casts, slides or both - everything is allowed. It can be a two-hours class or a long series of videos. Recordings of your live classes or interviews are also allowed. But if your material wasn’t filmed as an organized online course, we recommend you to publish it as a free course.

Filming recommendations:

  • Prepare an outline and split the whole topic into lessons
  • Split the lesson material to short videos of up to 15 min long
  • Show up in the videos sometimes, it improves communication

Technical requirements:

  • Aspect ratio 16:9
  • Screen resolution 1280 x 720 or above
  • Bit rate 300 kbits/second or above (3000-5000 kbits/second is ideal, max is 10 000 kbits/second)
  • 5GB per file or less
  • File format: .mp4, .mov, .avi, .flv
  • Compression format: H.264
  • Videos must include an audio track (voice or music you have permission to use)
