David & Luke Edmonson
David Edmonson is called a “Master Photographer to Master Photographers” and with good reason.
With a lifetime spent impacting the industry, the indelible impact David Edmonson leaves with clients, students and peers around the world is remarkable. No doubt, his signature style is unmistakable. But it’s his “Iron-Sharpens-Iron” philosophy that has fueled his art and professional success.
2016 has been a busy year. In August, as a member of the AIPP, David won the Overseas Photographer of the Year in the APPA competition for the 2nd year in a row. At the SWPP print competition in London in January, David gained multiple awards including the 20x16 Overall Winner with a perfect scoring print of 100. While there, he successfully earned his Fellowship from the Societies of Wedding & Portrait Photographers with his panel passing unanimously.
In March, he received 1st Place in the Portrait Division Group category at the WPPI 16x20 Competition is Las Vegas. David is recognized as a Triple Master of WPPI and the recipient of the 2015 Lifetime Achievement Award.
PPA recognizes David as Master of Photography (M. PHOTOG) and Photographic Craftsman (CR. PHOTOG) among other honored designations. He is a multi-year PPA Diamond Photographer of the Year, a three-time winner of the Kodak Gallery Awards, Fuji Masterpiece Awards as well as the Canon Par Excellence Award.
David is a member of the Cameracraftsman of America, one of the oldest, most prestigious groups in the world dedicated to advancing the profession of photography as an art form.

Luke Edmonson is a master photographer, global speaker, educator and print competition judge.
In the WPPI Honors of Excellence program, Luke is currently a Double Master of WPPI while also serving as a judge in the Annual and 8x10 Print Competitions. He is a Co-Founder and graduate of WPPI-C, the industry's first of its kind certification for wedding & portrait photographers.
He serves on the Speaker Selection Committee for Professional Photographers of America (PPA) while also earning the Master of Photography (M.Photog), Photographic Craftsman (Cr.Photog.) degrees & Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) certification.
He received his Fellowship from the Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers (SWPP) in January 2016.
Other past accolades include winning the International Photographer of the Year in the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) APPA competition, PPA Diamond Photographer of the Year, Kodak Gallery & Fuji Masterpiece Awards as well as various WPPI category awards.
Luke is a member of the Cameracraftsman of America, one of the oldest, most prestigious groups in the world dedicated to advancing the profession of photography as an art form.
He is a two-time President of the Dallas Professional Photographer Association and currently sits on the board of the Texas Professional Photographers Association.
